1. 累倒；累得无法继续
If someone pegs out, they are too exhausted to carry on with what they have been doing.
e.g. I nipped round the corner for a quick beer and nearly pegged out on the spot.

2. 死；断气
If you say that someone pegs out, you mean that they die.
