3. 造成,同意：hold up举起;阻止;拦劫 | hold with造成,同意 | in a hurry匆匆忙忙

4. 容忍：mysterious 神秘的 | hold with 容忍 | such 这样的

If you do not hold with an activity or action, you do not approve of it.

e.g. I don't hold with the way they do things nowadays.
