1. 逃避(责任)
    If you say that someone is copping out, you mean they are avoiding doing something they should do.

    e.g. 'Will you call the board to alert them that I feel I should resign?' — 'I'll do it. But I think you're copping out.'
           “你能不能给董事会打电话，提醒他们我觉得自己应该辞职？”——“我会的，但我认为你这是在逃避责任。”
